In addition to his duties as Director of the ONCOLille SIRIC, Professor Eric Lartigau is the Head of the University Department of Oncological Radiotherapy and the Director of Research and Co-operation at the Oscar Lambret Centre, Lille. He has also been a University Professor of Oncological Radiotherapy at the University of Lille 2 since 1999.
He received his initial training in oncological radiotherapy at the University of Poitier (1983) and then at the Gustave Roussy Institute (1985). Following his Science thesis (European quality label) which he successfully defended in 1994 at the University of South Paris, Prof. Lartigau obtained his Authorisation to Direct Research in 1996 (University of South Paris), as well as a university diploma in Health Economics (University of Paris IV) in 2000.
Prof. Lartigau has also been active at national level as the Chairman of the SFRO (French Society of Oncological Radiotherapy) from 2010-2011 and at European level as the Vice-Chairman of the European Network for Medical Radio-Isotope and Beam Research (EMIR) in 2002, and as the Secretary of the European Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ESTRO) from 1997 to 2003. Prof. Lartigau has published over 180 articles (pubmed) and 39 books and chapters in works.
In close collaboration with the Director, the management team of the ONCOLille SIRIC carries out:
– administrative and financial actions,
– various sorts of co-ordination actions.
Trained in the “Ecole des hautes études en santé publique” (EHESP), Milan LAZAREVIC is, since April 2015, deputy director of the health research department (DRS) in the Lille University Hospital (CHU Lille). He is in charge of the organization and management of research activities, structures and support platforms of the DRS in the CHU Lille.
Since April 2017, Milan LAZAREVIC is also director of the oncology activities. Together with the clinicans and medical staff, he is animating the Federation of oncology in the CHRU de Lille. He is also the director of the “Cancéropôle Nord-Ouest” since May, 1st 2017.
Milan LAZAREVIC studied in the “Sciences Po Paris” school, as well as in the “Ecole normale supérieure” (ENS Paris) and in the “Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris 1” university.
In order to co-ordinate SIRIC’s actions, the co-ordination team is supported by a Scientific Steering Committee.
This Scientific Steering Committee, which consists of the co-ordinators of the research orientations, the co-ordinators of the platforms, and of the managers in charge of transverse actions (human and social sciences, development, etc.), represents SIRIC’s various actors.
